You probably already spend a lot of time riding on your exercise bike and you probably got a lot of miles on that odometer, but then you realize it is a bit boring and you want something to spice up your exercise. Because once it becomes easy which it eventually will, it will simply feel like you are doing a chore because it no longer challenging and it is no longer fun anymore.

 

However, there are still ways to spice up your exercise routine when you are riding a spin bike and there are different kinds of methods to suit anyone. If you are a beginner then you can actually have a cardio routine that has been made for you where the workout will be lighter until you become stronger and want something a bit tougher to handle when you exercise. It is important to make sure you have the workout customized to your fitness level. However, if you do not know how fit you are then it would be a good idea to not only talk to a doctor but also to a fitness instructor as well because they can tell you at what level you should be at and what you should start out doing first so that you will not burn yourself out or get injured trying to do an intense workout your body is simply not ready for. Usually beginners will have a lightweight cardio work out and this basically means that you will be doing some warm-ups first like usually but it will low resistance warm ups. Also it is important to do some stretches especially leg stretches so that you will not get any cramps. And then after your warm out and stretches it is time to improve the resistance on the spin bike so that you can get a good sweat going. Just do not push yourself too hard because if you are able to carry a conversation and talk normally or comfortable then you are doing a healthy workout but if you can't have a conversation then you are simply pushing yourself too hard and you will need give yourself some slack. Also before you totally get exhausted it is important to go back to the low resistance so that you will be able to catch your breathe and recharge a bit.
